How does this enhance the shower water pressure. What is its flow rate?

There is a regulator that sits inside the handle, and this pressurises the water coming in (flow/volume/pressure) that then comes out of the head. The flow rate will not be any different as it has the same amount of water coming into the unit, but it pressurised by the regulator inside.
