I'm looking for a tap in traditional style that has an off position and allows you to cut off water flow during a shower while keeping the temp setting. Can the Kensington do this?

With the Kensington, you could cut off the shower by turning the lever to 'bath' but, water would come out of the bath tap instead.

Yes, the middle lever operates the shower head or bath tap outlet. The two levers for the hot and cold, go side to side for flow rate not temperature.

Your description states "Stainless Steel sink with a polished finish" but on Franke website the same model 101.0531.599 describes the finish as" Stainless Steel Brushed"
Please clarify. I am look for Brushed finish and need to be sure before ordering.

By polished we mean a smooth finish not a brushed effect.
