These Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions on this web site. Please read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights.
We may change or amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes or amendments made will take affect on the date they are posted onto this site (please see date above). We will ask you to read and accept these terms and conditions each time you place an order, to ensure that you arefamiliar with the most current, updated ones.
Making a purchase could not be easier, just browse our website, Click “Add to shopping” for any items that you wish to purchase and put them into the shopping cart.
You will have the opportunity to check and correct any input errors within your order up until you submit your order.
Once you have made all your selections click on “Order” and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy your order.
Acceptance of your order and the creation of a legally binding contract between us will only occur once we accept your order.
We will tell you if your payment details cannot be authorised for any reason and may invite you to pay by another method. All purchases must be paid for in full upon order and orders will not be processed until payment is received in full.
Description of Goods
The products we sell on this site are of a technical nature, it is not practical for us to publish or show detailed technical specifications of all our products. Please be advised that all images, descriptive matter, specifications, technical details and additional advertising shown on this site are to give you an approximate description of the goods. All of the specifications we give to you (the customer) are approximate and intended as a guide only. We cannot accept any responsibility or liability for any preparation work that is undertaken based on such specifications or information shown on our site.
Accuracy of our Product Information
Please be advised that all product specifications, technical details, images and other additional information published on our site have been made accessible to us by manufacturers, publications, publicists, suppliers or they have been gathered from public-domain sources. We try to ensure and it is the intention of Tapstore.com that the information we show on our site is as accurate and up to date as possible. Tapstore.com cannot guarantee the reliability or accuracy of the information shown within our pages. All the actions you take as the user of this site are the responsibility of the individual.

Prices and Payment
All prices and charges on this site are in UK pounds sterling. They include any VAT payable, but exclude any delivery charges. For details relating to delivery charges please see ‘Delivery’ section below.
The total cost of your order will be the price of the products you order plus the applicable delivery charge. All of these will be clearly set out in your Shopping Basket before you submit your order.
All prices, special offers and products are subject to availability and may change before (but not after) we accept your order. If for any reason something becomes unavailable we may offer you an alternative.
We try very hard to ensure the accuracy of all information shown on this site. However, occasionally, an error can occur. If we discover an error in the price or description of a product you have ordered, we will inform you and ask whether you wish to continue with your order, amend your order or cancel it.
We accept payment by Mastercard, Visa, Delta and Switch. Payment is deducted when we process your order. You may send your card information over the Internet, or if you prefer by phone, fax or post.
If you wish to pay by cheque or bankers draft please forward this to our address shown below. An additional 7 working days should be allowed for clearance.

To order goods through this site you must be at least 18 years of age, by ordering you confirm that you are of the required age.
Delivery can be made to alternative addresses (e.g. your work address), although we will still require the address at which your payment card is registered. All deliveries must be signed for (except items sent by post and which are small enough to be put through your letterbox). Please make sure you keep the receipt enclosed with your goods.

We make every effort to keep our delivery charges as low as possible.
All orders are delivered within the UK for at a flat rate of £7.98 per order* except in the following postcodes where a supplementary charge of £25.00 applies (bringing the total delivery charge to £32.98):

Orders received from customers within the above excluded postcodes for Crosswater Products will be charged 25.00 or 30.00 respectively see above post code list, on orders over £50.00.
Bauhaus Special Charges
The following delivery charges apply to all Bauhaus Orders
There is a charge of £60.00 for deliveries to the following Post Codes:

PA20 to PA99

All IV, KW and ZE Post Codes
There is a charge of £120.00 for deliveries to the following Post Codes:

How we Deliver
Generally orders are delivered by courier (usually Parcelforce), smaller products are sometimes delivered by post.
Many orders are delivered direct by our manufacturers and distributors, they can use a variety of couriers including DPD, UPS, TNT and UKMail
Occasionally different products in the same order may be delivered separately.
Delivery Times(mainland UK addresses)
Delivery times are calculated in working days - i.e. Monday to Friday inclusive. If you order after 3.00pm, please calculate your delivery time as if your order had been placed the following working day. In the case of bank holidays and just before Christmas, please allow an extra two working days.
Deliveries for standard products should usually arrive within 2 to 10 working days of placing your order, however, some products are special order (these are clearly marked) and can take around 21 working days to arrive. For these products you will be told about delivery dates as part of the order process.
If we, our suppliers or manufacturers are temporarily out of stock of any products, we will notify you of the expected dispatch date of these products. If items are out of stock and you would rather not wait you will always be offered the option to cancel your order.
IMPORTANT: We do everything we can to meet the delivery times specified in this section. However, occasionally delivery times may be affected by factors beyond our control and therefore they cannot be guaranteed. We will inform you if we become aware of an unexpected delay.

Damaged, Incorrect or Missing Orders
We try very hard to ensure that you receive your order in pristine condition. If you do not receive all your products please check that they have been dispatched.
If your products arrive in a damaged condition we must request that you make a note on the couriers consignment note and that you inform us within 48 hours from receipt of your delivery.
In the unlikely event that you receive incorrect products we must request that you notify us within 48 hours from receipt of these products.
When taking receipt of your delivery please check that you sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the couriers consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the couriers consignment note and if any products are lost in transit you must notify us within 48 hours from the expected delivery date.
Cancellations and Returns
You can cancel your order at any time either before or up to 14 days after delivery by:

Please have your proof of purchase and our delivery note to hand when calling or ensure you include details of our invoice / delivery note number, date of delivery and your full name, address and telephone number when emailing or writing to us.
Your products must be complete, unfitted, unused and in ‘as new’ condition (e.g. if you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product in any way). It should be returned with the original box, packing and accessories. Any ‘Free Gifts’ received with the product must also be returned.
When returning goods to Tapstore.com we recommend you take out appropriate insurance for the return delivery. Tapstore.com can arrange for products to be collected, a charge will be payable for this service*. Unfortunately, items received in an unsaleable condition (excluding faulty goods) will not be eligible for either exchange or refund.
*the usual charge for this service is £15.00 within mainland UK. This excludes some post codes and remote areas where there will be an additional charge, you should contact our Sales Department to confirm charges.
If our couriers are unable to collect at an agreed time you may be charged an additional collection fee.
Please see the Returns section of our website for full instructions of how to package your goods for return.
We cannot cancel your purchase when:
- You return your product/s to us without proof of purchase.
- Your product/s are received incomplete, damaged or used condition.
- or the goods were a special order to your specification.
If your products are received back to us incomplete, damaged or in a used condition, or you are outside of our notification time detailed above, we reserve the right to return the products to you and charge the cost for delivery to your account or we may charge a restocking charge at a minimum of 15%.

We are a UK based website and all orders received are governed by UK law only.
We will accept overseas orders, however, our usual delivery schedules do not apply and an extended delivery time should be allowed.
We will accept credit card payment for overseas orders. If you are shopping from North America or outside the UK, your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
Please be aware that any electrical goods shown on our website (e.g. lighting or illuminated bathroom cabinets) only conform to UK specifications.
If you wish to place an order from outside the UK, please contact our Sales Department on +44 20 8768 4050 between 10:00 and 16:30 GMT Monday to Friday and 9:00 and 12:00 GMT on Saturday, or email us with your order details and we will advise you of the appropriate delivery schedule and any additional delivery charges that may be payable.
We and our suppliers own the copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all material and content on this website, which you may use, download, copy, publish, transmit or otherwise make available by other means only for your personal, non-commercial use. Any other use or reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited.
You may not create any link to this website without our prior written consent, nor may you restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of it by anyone else.
These terms and conditions and all transactions relating to this website are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions only cover the Tapstore.com website. Any other websites to which you may link from this site are governed by their own terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content or operation of websites which are not under our control. We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.
